Master of Magic for Java 1.5

Home of an up and coming remake to the ever-popular DOS game Master of Magic (MoM). I will add more to this website over time, but currently there is just a little explanation, latest downloads, and some tips in running it. Soon this website will look better and have links and better layout, but right now I don't have time for it.

What exactly is the remake going to be?

When I first make the game, it will be exactly, or close to exactly, the same game. All the images and everything. After I make the game, I will start to make new graphics, make the screen a better resolution, and add features, such as multiplayer support.
It is being coded in Java 1.5 and uses the Java Media Foundation.

What is Master of Magic?

It is a game made by Microprose and is a lot like Civilization (Civ 2000 has a MoM senario you can play - but it doesn't do the game any justice). You can download the full game at the-underdogs.org. The problem is going to be how to run it. I will add a section on how to make it runnable later, until then, the information can be found, just search around.

Downloads

Before being able to run this game or use the source, you must have Java 1.5 or greater and Java Media Foundation 2.1 or greater installed. The links for those downloads are at the bottom of this page. The game requires a couple files to run, which can all be downloaded from my SourceForge project page: The source for the game can also be downloaded on SourceForge. The documentation can be viewed here.
